Reporters Without Borders settle in Tunisia

An old dream come true for fans of freedom of expression

According to Tunivisions, the office of the French organization “Reporters Without Borders’ (RSF), an organization that fights against censorship and to oppose laws designed to restrict freedom of the press, will settle in Tunisia Wednesday, October 12, 2011.

In the same statement, RSF said that his team will accompany the development of a stable media, ethical, independent and free in Tunisia.

The Secretary General of RSF, Jean-Francois Julliard said in the statement that “Freedom of the press is a core value that must be defended. It is the the responsibility of everyone. ”

Remember that on October 1, RSF launched for the first time, an information campaign to raise awareness among Tunisians the importance of freedom of the press which has the slogan “Free for how long?”.
