Berges du Lac – Floating Restaurants & Water Sports for 2012

The first 5 of a batch of 24 projects, planned and presented for recreation, sport and culture, are to be carried out before the end of 2012 in Berges du Lac.

Amongst the first to be completed, will be floating restaurants and a water sports club.

Technical studies have been carried out by a private consultant and the company of the Lake is in meetings with developers to exchange ideas on related issues.

These projects are part of a master plan to better utilise the area of the Lake north of Tunis and are sure to create a new dynamic in this area as well as in the capital, Tunis, too.

The planned projects will not impact on the ecosystem of the region.

Rached Ben Romdhane, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Equipment said that the projects presented will also create employment positions directly and indirectly, offer new investment opportunities and thus improve the ability of the Capital to attract new types of projects and have more to offer tourists.
