Football in Tunisia

At present the national obsession is, football and for good reason as Tunisia are the current Champions of Africa and have recently qualified for the world cup in Germany which is a phenomenal achievement for a country of fewer than 11 million people.

Domestically Tunisia has a top league of 12 teams which have representatives from many of the large cities. These teams compete for the league trophy and also then compete in the African version of the champion's league.
