I seem to remember that the stamps up in Tunis were only a few dinars - 1 actually free if I think! - I remember my husband laughing that it was the only thing that was cheap to pay out of the whole visa saga! Think it just has your maiden name on cert along with your husbands - will check for you. How long have you been married? We are going for the ILR this year, my husband is sweating already about having to hand over another £1000 for this visa lol x
Hi Jennifer, My huband got it translated at a place up near the court in Sousse near to the old Medina. He than went to the Municipality in Hammam Sousse and the to the court up in sousse. After that off he went to Tunis to the justice ministry and then the Ministry of exterior and got it stamped at both places. Have you had all the official stamps done? Passport office never gave me no bother at all and they accepted the copies as I could'nt find the original one. Is your husband here with you? If not you will need all the official stamps on marriage cert for the visa. x
