Sorry to be a pain Jasmine. Just looked at our tenancy agreement and it does not mention anything regarding the size, bedrooms, layout etc. At a bit of a loss now as to what proof of accommodation we should use.

We still haven't applied for our visitor visa :mad: We've had things happen (which I won't go into) that have stopped us! Now my situations changed and I'm now in rented accommodation - still with the family - but I'm not sure what I need to get from our landlord/agency to...
To those who have applied for a visa - what's the best way to orgainse the documents? I've heard the embassy aren't keen on folders? Also I will be sending this via post to hubby so I'm aiming for a lightweight option :-)
Jasmine, how does one go about the EU route? Would I, for example, have to have employment in the country? What would the process be for then getting hubby to the UK? I've heard they have to have a resident permit - would he get this from working there? Are they allowed to work on the Schengen...
Thanks for replying girls. Like you said Jane, the regs are in black and white, there are no grey areas that can be worked around. I personally wouldn't risk the money knowing I don't meet the requirements and I find it very optimistic of some couples to go forward when they don't meet all the regs.
