    Visitor's Visa

Ah ok, so putting the tenancy agreement within the app will just back up the fact the tenant "owns" the house so can invite.

    Visitor's Visa

Sorry to be a pain Jasmine. Just looked at our tenancy agreement and it does not mention anything regarding the size, bedrooms, layout etc. At a bit of a loss now as to what proof of accommodation we should use.

    Visitor's Visa

Hi all I'm back! We still haven't applied for our visitor visa  We've had things happen (which I won't go into) that have stopped us! Now my situations changed and I'm now in rented accommodation - still with the family - but I'm not sure what I need to get from our landlord/agency to...

    Visitor's Visa

To those who have applied for a visa - what's the best way to orgainse the documents? I've heard the embassy aren't keen on folders? Also I will be sending this via post to hubby so I'm aiming for a lightweight option :-)

Jasmine, how does one go about the EU route? Would I, for example, have to have employment in the country? What would the process be for then getting hubby to the UK? I've heard they have to have a resident permit - would he get this from working there? Are they allowed to work on the Schengen...

Thanks for replying girls. Like you said Jane, the regs are in black and white, there are no grey areas that can be worked around. I personally wouldn't risk the money knowing I don't meet the requirements and I find it very optimistic of some couples to go forward when they don't meet all the regs.

This is what I don't understand...to me the settlement visa is a lot of money and getting a solicitor is if your just "trying" it and not 100% sure you will get the outcome you want.

Getting Tunisians to UK - The Visa Thread

Hello everyone, Just a random question - a few people I know or have heard of are going to apply for settlement even though they don't meet the income requirement or are going to seek advice from an immigration solicitor to see how they can work around the new rules. What do you all think...
