I've never done a connecting flight cos I hate travelling and hate waiting around.hence why at this moment I'm sat in Heathrow terminal 4 and my flight delayed an hour.grrrr..
Apparently at Tunis there was a Libyan without correct papers on the plane heading to Heathrow. There's your cause!!!!

How on earth do they get as far as ONTO the plane?? That's the kind of thing that makes me doubt the security there. When I came back last week the man on the bag scan was on his mobile.

I'd heard it was Tunisair' but at least if it is Nouvelair they were always on time in the good old days when they flew from Gatwick. ☺

Yeah it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. Never normally been a nervous traveller but stories like that do worry me

Ok story is, Libyan man had been shot let's say wounded was supposed to be getting to the plane by ambulance. Police were supposed to escort the man to the plane. POLICE didn't have correct paperwork therefore causing the delay!! So I hear whether it is true or not who knows?!

Are you sure it's Tunisair Annibee? Lots of rumours flying around its Nouvelleair annd even heard Jet2. The statement didn't even stipulate which airport they would fly into here. It's a bit hit and miss at the moment.
actually no im not certain its tunisair that just seems to be the general assumption so could be any of the others you mentioned but will just be happy with whoever it is and hope see again soon :) x

Seems like you can now fly to Monastir from Paris CDG with Nouvelair. Didn't see that one last time I looked, they were all to Tunis which complicates things no end, and adds extra £££. I'm going in a fortnight so hopefully it will be straightforward. Anyone done it?

Hope you get there safely. I got stuck on the runway at Heathrow then waited an absolute age for my luggage. Decided I am trying Manchester via Frankfurt. It's the cheapest. If it's a disaster I will go back to Heathrow next time. Really hope tunisair start a Manchester route though!
Thanks.got there very late, but would still rather fly direct.

Tunisia just so inefficient, and such a drama. I bribed ( as advised) the man checking my dog in,and somehow my passport ended up with another man because when we checked the dog in they forgot to check me in,so he went to do that then was talking to a woman and wouldn't give it back even though I was being told to go through, and I made the mistake of tapping my watch to show I was in a hurry,so he started questioning what type of screws I had in the dog crate.even though it was already checked in and accepted by someone else...just to show he had a bit of power
