A park named "Chak-Wak" was born in Tozeur. It traces the history of the planet. With the opening of "Chak-Wak" park, Tozeur became a prime tourist attraction.
Conceived and founded by Abderrazek Chraiet, owner of "Dar Cherait" museum, the "Chak-wak" park is a space of five hectares, with dinosaurs, hundreds of animals, humanoids and human figurines, mini-museums, caves, huts, all scattered in a lush oasis.
Chal Wak Park cost about 2.5 MD and was completed in a record time of eighteen months, with Tunisian materials and exclusively Tunisian work force ... and includes special sound effects and lights that carry visitors into a dream world of a thousand and one nights.
