Huge cruise liner visits Tunisia
The largest cruise ship in Europe will soon be visiting Tunisia and it plans to make many more trips in the next few years.
Named the Costa Concordia, the giant ship claims to be the biggest spa sanctuary at sea, measuring a huge 2,100 square metres.
The Samsara Spa is the ship’s biggest and best feature, offering a gym, Turkish bath, solarium, holistic treatments and an indoor spa pool.
The Concordia is designed to resemble a grand hotel and is a haven of luxury, containing a three storey theatre, 13 bars, a jogging track and three swimming pools.
The cruise liner is the property of Costa Cruises and was launched on July 9th, with planned stops in Spain, Majorca, Tunisia, Malta and Sicily.
Tunisia benefits from the tourism generated by cruises and visitors often return to the country after stopping off during a cruise trip.
Many people are taken aback by the beautiful natural surroundings of Tunisia and its coastline, as well as the vast array of awe inspiring archaeological sites.![]()
