Marquit Batata (potato)

Mutton’s meat : 500g
Potatoes: 750g
Chickpeas: 50g
Onion: 1
Oil: 1 deciliter


tomato’s extract : 1 tablespoon
Harissa: 1 / 2 tablespoon
ground pepper :1 / 2 tablespoon
Pepper: according to taste
Salt : according to taste

first of all ; pick over and wash the chickpeas then put them to soak in fresh water a day before cooking and rinse them.
peel and chop a small onion. peel potatoes and cut them into quarters .

second ; Heat oil in a pot ,cut the meat into cubes , add salt and pepper and cook them in oil with the minced onion.

After that ; Add chick peas , the harissa, tomato ‘s paste and ground pepper and cook it for an hour and a half.
Stir occasionally and add some water from time to time . once it is half cooked, add the districts of potatoes and continue cooking in the same way.

Finally, when meat , potatoes and chick peas are well-cooked , add a touch of pepper, correct salt and
serve it hot.
