Tunisia is preparing to celebrate the national day of Saharan tourism which takes place on November 12th.

To mark the event Tozeur’s international golf course will have an inauguration ceremony with the country’s minister of tourism, Tijani Haddad, likely to attend.

The unique golf course is located in the lush palm groves of Tozeur and is expected to attract many visitors.

As well as the official opening of the golf course, the Sahara tourism day will also see the launch of the 6th international camel race in Douz.

There will also be a conference of the breeding of camels as well as a number of cultural shows and exhibitions.

Meanwhile, the minister of tourism has recently visited a site in Zarzis which will soon have 10,000 beds for tourists visiting the south of Tunisia.© Adfero | More Tunisia News
