Tourism Africa 2006 could give Tunisia boost
A boost to tourism in Tunisia could be on its way as the Tourism Africa 2006 strategic business meeting nears.
The African Union, World Tourism Organisation, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and Unesco are among the organisations that support the event, which aims to develop tourism projects and boost the continent’s holiday appeal.
The event will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from September 10th to the 15th and will receive international recognition, meaning countries such as Tunisia could benefit from the conference.
Hospitality, transport, tour-operating, investment and tourism professionals, experienced on the African continent will all be on hand to dispense information and advice on the subject.
Just 33 days remain until the important event, which will also consider ways to make sure Africa remains untarnished by the effects of increasing tourist numbers, who will hopefully be flocking ever more readily to the likes of Tunis and Sousse.
