Tunisian holidays getting cheaper
Holidays to Tunisia look set to be cheaper for anyone thinking of travelling to the north African country any time soon, as the UK enters into a holiday price war.
According to reports, the traditional post-Christmas sales are encouraging some intense competition among travel operators, with cut price holidays on offer all round.
Many of these prices have been lowered on what are believed to be up and coming hotspots, such as Varna in Bulgaria and Monastir in Tunisia, according to the Daily Record.
Holidays to the Tunisian hotspot are reportedly 11 per cent cheaper this year than last year, something that looks like a tempting offer for would-be holidaymakers.
“At this time of year, consumers are bombarded with advertisements as holiday companies aim to capture early bookers,” said Mike Greenacre of Co-op Travel and Travelcare. “For 2007, it seems there is genuine value to be had.”
At 14 per cent cheaper than last year, Ibiza holidays have seen the biggest price drop.
