Zidane visits Djerba
Former international footballer and world superstar Zinedine Zidane is reported to be taking a vacation in Djerba.
The 33-year-old former Real Madrid and France international has been spotted by daily newspaper La Presse.
Zidane is said to be taking a break after announcing his retirement following the World Cup finals in July 2006.
It is reported that Zizou, as he is affectionately known by French fans, is spending his holiday at Djerba’s Club Mediterranee, where he was seen getting into a limousine.
Recognised by millions of football fans as one of the greatest players of all time, Zidane has brought an entourage of bodyguards with him as he visits the idyllic Tunisian town of Djerba.
The region is an extremely popular holiday destination and attracts thousands of people from across the world every year.
