lol Essem ... I walk "pasta" it ... love it ...Have to tell you that last week we went for the first time to Ceasar's for lunch (opposite Clinique Les Oliviers).
As usual a few cats outside - waiting. Just as the main course was brought to us, one of the smaller cats caught a mouse, where it came from I do not know, but it was nearly as big as the cat. The cat proceeded to eat the mouse and the waiters just let it.
As it was, I had ordered Spaghetti with 4 cheeses and it arrived with only 2 cheeses one of them being the flat cheese you put on cheeseburgers!!! (it reminded me a bit of the 4 seasons pizza I once ordered that ended up being a 2 seasons one because they didn't have enough ingredients! - different restaurant).
Anyway, all I could see was the mouses tail dangling as I was wrapping the spaghetti around my fork - so ended up leaving most of it. That day I started my pasta diet. Any time I go past Casesar's now, I walk 'pasta' it.
Thx will bear that 1 in mind 4 wen im there nxt yr!!!Coyote said:The Saloon is often recommended due to its prominent location (at the roundabout near the Casino and discotheque "living") and its american-style decoration - and many tourists seem to value the look higher than the quality...)
There is actually another, hardly known, restaurant with american-style decoration (only inside, not like the Saloon mainly outside) and even the food is recommended there. It is called "La Campagnola" and is located at the GP1, km 132, near the roundabout Kantaoui/Akouda (each taxi driver can bring you there with this information).
We were the only 3 eating outside there (lunchtime) - maybe the others were afraid of the mice!!Coyote said:The restaurant is not too bad - although some of the (tunisian) guests are not amongst the best possible clients...
There's also a new aeroplane themed place next to the Hawaii shopping centre in PEK, can't remember what it's called now...something cheesy. Not very nice food apparently, but it's all about the gimmick!Coyote said:The Saloon is often recommended due to its prominent location (at the roundabout near the Casino and discotheque "living") and its american-style decoration - and many tourists seem to value the look higher than the quality...)
