Had a quick look at the recipe (nearest I get to cooking!) - could it be the caraway seeds?

Aijja1/2 teaspoon - i didnt think that aijja was an actual ingredient if you get what i mean!!?

Yes I saw that too and understand completely what you mean. I didn't think Aijja was an ingredient either. Perhaps a misprint?? We'll have to wait for the cooks amongst us to enlighten us??

Hope that you are in good health ! My favourite recipe is couscous with Sfin.....and plenty of vegetables...especially pumkin.............

Never had couscous before in the Uk that has tasted nice, i have only tasted the best cooked couscous with sfin in Tunisia........

We will have couscous to eat togehter 1 day, on the Tunis air........:D:D:D

Hi roulla, about the couscous on Tunis air for me perfect :D
but i have to say that the best couscous i've ever try is my flatmate's. he is moroccan and for me is the best...but since he married and had a baby he says is to busy to cook :eek: (men...)
in soho there is a restaurant where you can find nice couscous but i don't remember the name now ....;)
well i hope that day comes soon xxxx

I'm not really kean on Moroccan couscous because they use raisins and i do like to have harrissa in in too.............

I find that Moroccans use alot of fruit in there food, which i don't personaly like....maybe i'm just bloody fussy......:D

Hi roulla, i don't like raisins but i have to say my flatmate never put them on the food...and last week i was in marrakech and i ate a lot of couscous, tagines and harira and in none of them i found any raisins :D
umm i'm getting hungry now :) xxx
