The cruise port of Tunis is located in La Goulette, about 15 kilometers east of the city centre. It’s a major cruise port where several ships can dock at the same time.

Goulette Village Harbour is perhaps one of the finest and most modern cruise terminals in the Mediterranean. You will find various shops, bars, a beauty salon and banks. From the cruise port in La Goulette you can take excursions to Carthage, Sidi Bou Said or Tunis.

La Goulette has one of the most beautiful and moderncruise terminals along the Mediterranean. Inside you can find:
- shops
- cafes
- banking services
- beauty salon
Opening times differ a lot around Tunisia, but generally are as follows:
- Monday to Saturday
- from 9.00h – 19.00h
In summer:
- 09.00h – 13.00h
- and 16.00h – 19.00h
Of course there are exceptions
La Goulette is a port with not so much to see or do and very little to offer. You can walk around. If you want to visit Tunis or the archaeological sites of Carthage, then there are two good options. You can take a train nearby or opt for a taxi. Also, Sidi Bou Saïd can perfectly be reached that way. Some cruise passengers reported intrusive taxi drivers at the exit of the port which make you believe that taking a taxi is the only way to go.
